TiviMate Premium subscription vs an IPTV subscription
By TiviMatePremium.shop · Updated 28 October 2026
A TiviMate Premium subscription is the app upgrade sold by its developer: $9.99 a year or $33.99 lifetime on US Google Play in October 2026 (check today's price in the Companion app). An IPTV subscription is the content you load into the app. The upgrade adds features but no channels, so live TV in TiviMate needs the content either way.
In short
- The paid upgrade improves the player. An IPTV subscription supplies the channels, movies and series.
- They are two purchases from two sellers: the developer sells the upgrade, and an IPTV service sells the content.
- A full setup costs about $0.83 a month for yearly Premium plus IPTV from $4.16/mo, and the upgrade is optional.
| Upgrade sold by | The TiviMate developer |
|---|---|
| IPTV sold by | IPTV services such as ours |
| Upgrade price | $9.99 a year or $33.99 lifetime (US, Oct 2026) |
| Includes channels | Upgrade: no. IPTV: yes |
| Needed for live TV | The IPTV subscription |
Short answer
A TiviMate Premium subscription upgrades the app; an IPTV subscription supplies the channels. Premium costs $9.99 a year or $33.99 lifetime on US Google Play in October 2026, covers up to 5 devices and is sold only by the developer, in the Companion app or through tivimate.com. Includes channels: no. Check today's price in the Companion app or on the official site.
Quick clarity: TiviMate Premium is the app's paid upgrade, sold by its developer. It unlocks features like recording and multiple playlists, but it includes no channels. TiviMatePremium.shop sells the IPTV subscription, the content you load into TiviMate or any other player. They are two separate purchases.
Most of the confusion comes from the word subscription. Some sites sell a "TiviMate subscription" that is really an IPTV login sold under the name of the app. The app itself is only a player. This page separates the two purchases and shows what each one costs.
Is TiviMate Premium a subscription?
Partly. The developer sells it in two forms: a yearly TiviMate Premium subscription at $9.99 that renews through Google Play billing, or a one-time lifetime purchase at $33.99 that never renews (US Google Play, October 2026; check today's price in the Companion app or on the official site). Both unlock the same features on up to 5 devices.
| Form | US price, Oct 2026 | Renews | Devices |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yearly | $9.99 | Every year, via Google Play | Up to 5 |
| Lifetime | $33.99 | Never | Up to 5 |
What you get is the paid unlock for the TiviMate player: multiple playlists, favorites and custom groups, catch-up, recording, multi-view, program reminders, guide search and auto frame rate. It is not content, not a channel list and not a service that supplies a picture. You activate it by signing in to your account on your TV, as our guide on how to activate TiviMate Premium shows.
Lifetime pays for itself after 3.4 years of use. Our TiviMate Premium price breakdown has the full year-by-year cost and a calculator.
What an IPTV subscription is
An IPTV subscription gives you access to live channels, movies and series over the internet. After you pay, the provider sends a login: a server URL, a username and a password (Xtream Codes), plus an M3U playlist link. You load that into a player app, and the app shows the channels and the TV guide.
The subscription decides what you can watch, in what quality and for how long. Ours includes 20,000+ live channels and 95,000+ movies and series in 4K, FHD and HD, billed once, no auto-renew. It works in TiviMate and in every other major player on 25+ device types, so it is not tied to one app the way the upgrade is.
TiviMate Premium subscription vs IPTV, side by side
This table puts the two next to each other. The right column describes the IPTV subscription we sell.
| Question | TiviMate Premium | Our IPTV subscription |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | The paid upgrade for the TiviMate app | The TV content you watch |
| Who sells it | The TiviMate developer only | TiviMatePremium.shop |
| Includes channels | No | 20,000+ live channels, 95,000+ movies and series |
| Price | $9.99 a year or $33.99 lifetime (US, Oct 2026) | From $4.16/mo |
| Works in other apps | No, TiviMate only | Yes, every major player |
| Billing | Yearly renews via Google Play, or lifetime once | Billed once, no auto-renew |
| Needed to watch TV | No | Yes |
Premium alone still shows nothing
Picture a DVD player you have just upgraded with every extra the shop offered: nicer menus, a recorder, a second disc tray. Switch it on without a disc and the screen stays black. That is exactly what the paid tier does. The player gets smarter, but the picture still has to come from somewhere, and in TiviMate that somewhere is a playlist from an IPTV subscription.
The reverse works fine. An IPTV login plays in the free TiviMate app, with live TV and the guide, so a household can watch the same evening without paying the developer anything. The upgrade only becomes useful once content is loaded, which is why we suggest sorting the content first.
So if you are about to pay for a TiviMate Premium subscription to fix an empty channel list, stop: the fix is a playlist, not the upgrade.
What a full TiviMate setup costs per month
A complete setup has two lines on the bill. The table spreads each cost over a month, using the US Google Play prices from October 2026 for Premium (check today's price in the Companion app) and our 1-device IPTV plans.
| Setup | Premium per month | IPTV per month | Total per month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free app + 12-month IPTV | $0 | $4.16 | $4.16 |
| Yearly Premium + 12-month IPTV | About $0.83 | $4.16 | About $4.99 |
| Yearly Premium + 6-month IPTV | About $0.83 | $4.99 | About $5.82 |
| Yearly Premium + 3-month IPTV | About $0.83 | $6.66 | About $7.49 |
Yearly Premium works out at $9.99 divided by 12, about $0.83 a month. Lifetime is $33.99 once, which drops below that monthly figure once you keep it past 3.4 years. The IPTV line is the larger recurring cost, which is why we publish every plan in full on our IPTV subscription prices page, from $4.16/mo on the 12-month, 1-device plan.
How they work together
Think of it as three steps. You install TiviMate on your device. You add your IPTV login as an Xtream Codes playlist, and the channels and guide load. If you want the extra features, you buy the upgrade from the developer, sign in to your TiviMate account and the features unlock on top of what you already have.
Nothing about your IPTV subscription changes when you add a TiviMate Premium subscription: your playlist, favorites and settings stay where they are. Our Firestick setup guide walks through the first two steps on a Fire TV Stick, and the guide to buying Premium covers the third.
Which one affects picture quality?
Picture quality comes from the subscription, not from Premium. Resolution and how steadily a channel plays depend on the source stream and on your connection. The upgrade cannot make a stream sharper, and the free app plays the same picture as the paid one.
What the upgrade changes is how you move around: grouping, searching, recording and multi-view. Auto frame rate can remove judder on some TVs, but it does not add detail. If your complaint is buffering or a blurry channel, check your internet speed, your Wi-Fi and your provider before you spend money on a TiviMate Premium subscription.
Who supports which part
Support follows the product. Knowing which side owns a fault saves a lot of back and forth.
| Problem | Who to contact |
|---|---|
| Premium will not unlock | The TiviMate developer |
| The app crashes or loses a setting | The TiviMate developer |
| Refund for the upgrade | Google Play or the developer |
| A channel is down or a login fails | Your IPTV provider |
| The guide shows the wrong program | Your IPTV provider |
We support the subscription we sell, with daily support, usually within the hour, on WhatsApp or at support@tivimatepremium.shop. When a problem belongs to the app rather than the content, we say so plainly and point you to the developer.
Common mix-ups when shopping
Three patterns cause most of the confusion. Sellers of "TiviMate subscriptions" are selling an IPTV login branded with the app name. Sellers of "Premium codes" are selling something the developer does not sell. Bundles that promise the upgrade and channels together cannot include the developer's product, because only the developer sells it.
- A lifetime TiviMate Premium subscription for far less than $33.99 is not coming from the developer.
- A seller who asks you to sideload a special version of the app is a reason to walk away.
- A seller who cannot say which part is the app and which part is the content probably does not know.

Do you need a TiviMate Premium subscription?
For live TV in TiviMate you need the content, not the upgrade. Use this checklist for the app half:
Buy it if
- You want to record programs or use catch-up in TiviMate
- You keep more than one playlist
- You want multi-view for sport
- You run the app on several TVs at home
Skip it if
- You only watch live TV from one playlist
- You have no IPTV subscription yet
- Your devices are iPhone, Apple TV, Samsung or LG, where TiviMate does not run
- You are still comparing player apps

Our pick
Get the content first: an IPTV subscription plays in the free app the same evening. Then try the yearly TiviMate Premium subscription ($9.99 on US Google Play, October 2026) if you want recording or multi-view, and move to lifetime ($33.99) if you will use it for more than 4 years. Our IPTV plans for TiviMate start from $4.16/mo.

Quick answers
Is a TiviMate subscription the same as IPTV?
Not exactly. People often say TiviMate subscription when they mean an IPTV subscription loaded into TiviMate. A TiviMate Premium subscription is only the app upgrade. TiviMate is the app, Premium is its paid upgrade, and the IPTV subscription is the content: three different things.
Can I watch TV with only TiviMate Premium?
No. Premium unlocks features in the player but adds no channels. You need an IPTV subscription or another playlist source to have anything to play. The upgrade improves how you watch, with extras such as recording, catch-up and multiple playlists, while the free app plus an IPTV subscription is already enough for live TV.
Can I use your IPTV without Premium?
Yes. Our IPTV loads into the free TiviMate app and into other players. The upgrade only adds extras such as recording and multiple playlists, bought separately from the developer. Our plans are billed once, with no auto-renew, and setup is the same in every player: enter the login and the channels and guide load.
Does a TiviMate Premium subscription renew automatically?
The yearly plan renews through Google Play billing until you cancel it in Google Play under Subscriptions. The lifetime purchase is paid once and never renews. Cancelling in Google Play stops the next renewal, and the upgrade stays active until the end of the paid year. Our IPTV plans work differently: billed once, no auto-renew.
Why do some sites sell TiviMate subscriptions?
Because the app name attracts searches. They are selling an IPTV login and using the app name to describe where it works. Check what you receive: a login for content, not the developer's product. The developer sells Premium only in the Companion app and through its official site, so a seller offering an app code or key is not the developer.
Which should I buy first?
The content. An IPTV subscription works in the free TiviMate app straight away, so you can watch before deciding on the upgrade. Add the upgrade later from the developer if you want its features. That way you pay for the extras only once you know you want recording, catch-up or multiple playlists.
TiviMate is ready. Add the channels.
